Mel has been drawing and painting all his life. He started pavement drawing when he was at Art School, initially to earn a little money, recreated Old Masters paintings in chalk. He then moved on to vast canvases in oils on the streets – some  over 10 square metres! After taking numerous oil painting reproductions and mural commissions, in 1997 he switched to painting murals full-time. He works on both interior and exterior surfaces. 

If you’re after mural in a more classic art style, Mel’s your man, but like all versatile artists, he can turn his hand to whatever you need.
